The Boy in the Striped Pajamas  Some info about the movie. The boy in the striped pajamas is a movie that was produced by Miramax, Heyday Films and BBC Films. It is based on John Boyne's 2006 novel that goes by the same name. The film is centred around one of the characters called Bruno who is the son of a Nazi general that was promoted to take charge of one of the concentration camps. As the family has to move to a remote location Bruno becomes bored and wonders off into the forest where he soon comes across the concentration camp  and meets Shmuel and they soon become friends.
